Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will provide a variety of therapeutic massage services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health goals through personalized treatment plans and expert techniques. Responsibilities Deliver a wide range of massage therapies including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, hot stone, Thai, Shiatsu, acupressure, lymphatic drainage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release techniques, reflexology services, and specialized massages such as prenatal and postnatal massage. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans. Perform massage therapy for specific populations including athletes, elderly clients, children, post-surgery patients, and individuals with stress-related or chronic pain conditions. Incorporate advanced techniques such as lymphatic drainage and myofascial release to optimize therapeutic outcomes. Maintain detailed client records and document treatment progress in compliance with health regulations. Promote a relaxing and professional environment that encourages client comfort and satisfaction. Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education to enhance your skills and certifications. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with proof of certification. Demonstrated experience in diverse massage modalities including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, Thai massage, Shiatsu, acupressure massage, hot stone massage, reflexology services, and specialized therapies like prenatal or post-surgical massage. Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to accurately assess client needs. Excellent communication skills to educate clients about treatment options and wellness strategies. Ability to perform patient assessments effectively and adapt techniques accordingly. Experience working with a variety of client populations such as athletes, elderly individuals, children, or those with chronic pain or stress-related conditions is preferred.
