The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of anatomy and physiology, with the ability to assess patient needs and provide tailored massage treatments. This role requires a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service while promoting relaxation and healing through various massage techniques. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and preferences. Perform a variety of massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, to alleviate pain and promote relaxation. Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and occupational health to provide informed care. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed for comprehensive patient care. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in pain management techniques. Requirements Valid state licensure or certification in massage therapy. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction. Experience in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other therapeutic modalities is preferred. Ability to perform patient assessments effectively. Knowledge of occupational health practices is a plus. Familiarity with med spa environments is advantageous but not required.
