Duties Perform professional massage therapy sessions including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to alleviate muscle tension and pain. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing health benefits. Maintain detailed records of each session, noting treatment plans, progress, and client feedback. Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment adhering to all health and safety standards. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or medical staff as needed to support comprehensive patient care. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification. Proven experience in patient service with excellent customer service skills. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Skilled in various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Experience in pain management strategies and occupational health practices preferred. Prior work experience in a med spa or similar setting is highly desirable. Ability to assess patient needs accurately and develop customized treatment plans.
