The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, along with excellent customer service skills. As a Massage Therapist, you will provide therapeutic massage services to clients, helping them achieve relaxation, pain relief, and overall wellness. Your expertise in various massage techniques will play a crucial role in enhancing the client experience and promoting their health. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and health concerns. Provide a range of massage therapies, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to tailor treatments for optimal results. Maintain accurate records of client sessions, including treatment plans and progress notes. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary. Uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the treatment area. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a med spa environment to ensure comprehensive patient care. Stay updated on medical terminology and occupational health practices relevant to massage therapy. Qualifications Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with relevant certifications. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Familiarity with various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Ability to perform patient assessments effectively and develop personalized treatment plans. Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing exceptional patient service. Previous experience in a med spa or similar setting is preferred but not required.
