What You'll Develop Conduct clear, organized assessments Recognize relevant muscular, fascial, joint, postural, and movement restrictions Decide what to prioritize and how to structure a session Select and combine techniques intentionally Refine pressure, pacing, positioning, and body mechanics Adapt treatment based on what you observe and how the tissues respond Communicate your findings and treatment goals clearly Provide appropriate homecare and biomechanical adjustments Build patient treatment plans across weeks and months The goal is not simply to add more techniques to your toolbox. It is to become better at knowing what to do, why you're doing it, and when to change course. What the Role Looks Like You'll begin with paid, hands-on training, practicing assessment, treatment planning, and manual techniques under direct guidance of the lead practitioner as you take each client through a 4 session treatment plan. Your work will include client history intake and assessments, individualized 90-minute orthopedic manual therapy sessions, treatment documentation, client education, and appropriate homecare recommendations. You'll receive direct feedback on clinical decision-making, hands-on work, and client communication with the expectation that you apply that feedback as you develop your own judgment and clinical style. You'll also be expected to maintain professional, sanitation, documentation, and practice standards in all aspects of client care.
