Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. In this role, you will provide therapeutic massage services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being for our diverse clientele. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of various massage techniques, demonstrate excellent patient service skills, and maintain a professional approach to client care. Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage tailored to individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and document progress. Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend ongoing therapy options when necessary. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment in compliance with health and safety standards. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, preferences, and health history. Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and relevant medical terminology. Manage appointment scheduling efficiently while providing exceptional customer service throughout the client experience. Support occupational health initiatives by assisting clients with injury recovery or pain management strategies. Manage front desk Requirements Valid state licensure or certification in massage therapy from an accredited program. Proven experience in providing diverse massage modalities such as Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage. Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy relevant to therapeutic massage. Experience with patient assessment techniques and pain management strategies. Excellent communication skills for client consultation and education. Knowledge of medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health. Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is required. Prior experience working in med spas or occupational health settings is preferred. Ability to demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail at all times.

$20.00 - $42.00 per hour
