We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. As a Massage Therapist, you will provide therapeutic massage treatments to clients, helping them alleviate pain, reduce stress, and improve overall well-being. If you have a passion for healing and a desire to make a positive impact on others' lives, we would love to hear from you.Duties include:
- Perform patient assessments to determine their specific needs and concerns
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual client goals and conditions
- Administer various massage techniques such as deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and Swedish massage
- Provide acute pain management and relief for clients with chronic conditions or injuries
- Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of physiology to effectively communicate with clients and other healthcare professionals
- Conduct physical examinations to identify areas of tension or discomfort
- Maintain accurate and detailed client records, including treatment plans and progress notes
- Educate clients on self-care techniques and exercises to enhance the benefits of massage therapy
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as chiropractors or physical therapists, to provide comprehensive care
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Massage Therapist in a clinical or spa setting
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proficiency in various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to establish rapport with clients
- Ability to assess client needs and develop personalized treatment plans
