Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, and hot stone massage to address clients' specific needs. Guide clients in appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual health conditions and goals. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend suitable therapies for ongoing pain management and occupational health concerns. Record details of each session, including treatment notes and any relevant medical or physiological information with the front desk. Ensure a safe and comfortable environment by adhering to all sanitation, safety, and professional standards required in medical spa settings. Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education requirements to enhance your skills and service quality. Skills Strong client service skills with the ability to connect empathetically and professionally with clients. Proficiency in client assessment techniques to identify areas of tension, pain points, and treatment priorities. Expertise in advanced massage techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage for effective pain relief. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor that fosters client trust and satisfaction. Understanding of occupational health principles to support clients with work-related musculoskeletal issues. Prior experience in med spa environments is highly desirable for delivering specialized treatments in a clinical setting.
