Overview Join our dynamic team as a Licensed Massage Therapist and bring relief, relaxation, and wellness to our diverse clientele. In this role, you will deliver expert massage therapy services tailored to individual needs, promoting healing and enhancing overall well-being. Your expertise will help clients manage pain, reduce stress, and improve mobility through personalized treatment plans. Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand client needs, health history, and specific pain points. Educate clients on treatment options, self-care practices, and post-session recommendations to support ongoing wellness. Maintain accurate documentation of each session, including treatment details and client progress notes. Ensure a safe and comfortable environment by adhering to all health and safety protocols, including CPR certification requirements. Communicate effectively with clients to address concerns, explain procedures clearly, and foster a trusting relationship. Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education in physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and pain management techniques. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification. Proven experience in massage therapy with knowledge of physiology and anatomy principles. Proficiency in various massage techniques including Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical spa treatments. Strong patient service skills with the ability to assess individual needs accurately. Excellent client communication skills to ensure a positive experience and build lasting relationships. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to therapeutic treatments and occupational health practices. Certification in CPR and first aid is required for safety compliance. $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
