Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage to address individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current concerns, and treatment goals. Communicate clearly with clients about their treatment plans, expected outcomes, and post-session care instructions. Maintain detailed records of each session, including techniques used and client progress, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with health regulations. Stay informed about the latest developments in physiology, anatomy, pain management, and occupational health to enhance treatment effectiveness. Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and addressing client questions or concerns professionally. Adhere to all licensing requirements, safety protocols including CPR certification, and maintain a clean and safe treatment environment. Experience Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current licensing credentials. Proven experience in diverse massage modalities such as Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy practices. Prior experience working in a med spa or occupational health setting is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to assess patient needs accurately and develop tailored treatment plans. Excellent client communication skills with a focus on building trust and rapport. Experience with pain management techniques and supporting clients through recovery processes is preferred.
