Communicate effectively with clients to understand their health history, preferences, and specific pain points. Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend ongoing wellness strategies. Maintain accurate treatment records and document client progress in compliance with health regulations. Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education opportunities to enhance your skills. Requirements Proven experience in massage therapy with proficiency in Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage. Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to perform effective treatments safely. Ability to assess patient needs accurately through client communication and physical evaluation. Familiarity with medical terminology related to pain management and therapeutic treatments. Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is required; state licensure or certification as a licensed massage therapist is essential. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients empathetically. Prior experience working in med spa settings or occupational health environments is preferred.
