In this role, you will provide high-quality therapeutic massage services to our clients, ensuring a relaxing and rewarding experience. You will utilize your knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assess patient needs and deliver tailored treatments that promote healing and relaxation. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care in a welcoming environment. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment goals. Provide various types of massage therapy including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and relaxation techniques. Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and physiology to communicate effectively with clients regarding their health concerns. Maintain accurate records of client sessions, treatments provided, and progress made. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for clients. Ensure a clean, safe, and inviting environment for clients before and after treatments. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques. Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly. Qualifications Valid state licensure or certification in massage therapy. Strong understanding of occupational health principles related to massage therapy. Knowledge of pain management techniques and their application in therapeutic settings. Proficiency in patient assessment methods to tailor treatments effectively. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Experience in a med spa or similar environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy is highly desirable. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed.
