Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including therapeutic massage ( Massage tools must be used after training by our store.3-7 days ) trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage tailored to individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and identify areas of concern related to physiology and anatomy. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy, pain management strategies, and occupational health practices to support their ongoing wellness. Maintain detailed documentation of treatments, client progress, and medical history while adhering to confidentiality standards. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain procedures clearly, and ensure a comfortable experience. Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and relevant medical terminology to enhance service quality. Follow all safety protocols including CPR certification requirements and proper sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Skills Proven experience in massage therapy with expertise in Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage modalities. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pain management techniques, and occupational health principles. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to assess client needs accurately and communicate treatment plans effectively. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and client health conditions. Ability to build rapport with clients through attentive listening and personalized care. CPR certification is required; additional certifications in occupational health or med spa environments are a plus. Prior experience working in a med spa or similar setting is highly desirable.
