Duties Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities to address client needs. Apply comprehensive knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to develop effective treatment plans. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing pain management and occupational health. Maintain detailed records of each session, including patient progress and treatment outcomes, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and addressing client questions or concerns promptly. Stay current with industry trends and continuing education opportunities to enhance skills and expand service offerings. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification to practice legally. Proven experience in patient service, with a focus on patient assessment and personalized treatment planning. Proficiency in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques. Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Prior experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting is preferred. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients professionally and empathetically. Knowledge of occupational health principles to support clients' workplace wellness needs.
