Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Massage Therapist specializing in Veterans Medical Massage to join our team. Duties Deliver professional massage therapy sessions including trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, sports massage and medical massage tailored to veterans' specific health conditions Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and develop customized treatment plans Apply physiology and anatomy knowledge to identify areas of tension, pain points, and muscular imbalances for effective therapy Educate patients on self-care techniques and occupational health practices to support ongoing wellness Maintain detailed documentation of treatments, patient progress, and medical history in compliance with healthcare standards Communicate clearly with clients about their treatment goals, progress, and any necessary adjustments to therapy plans Ensure a safe environment by adhering to CPR and other safety protocols at all times Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with specialization in medical or therapeutic massage for veterans or related fields Proven experience in pain management techniques including trigger point therapy and deep tissue massage Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage practices Excellent patient communication skills with a focus on client comfort and trust-building CPR certification required; additional certifications such as occupational health or med spa experience are a plus Demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence and patient care in a healthcare or med spa setting Join us in delivering high-quality therapeutic care that transforms lives!
