Responsibilities Provide a variety of massage therapies including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and occupational health massages tailored to client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual physiology and anatomy knowledge. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment procedures, and offer post-session recommendations for pain management and wellness. Maintain accurate documentation of treatments performed, client progress, and any relevant medical terminology in compliance with licensing standards. Ensure a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols, including CPR certification and proper sanitation practices. Educate clients on self-care techniques and recommend additional therapies or services as appropriate. Stay current with industry trends, continuing education opportunities, and spa or medical massage advancements to enhance service quality. Skills Proven expertise in massage therapy techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, trigger point therapy, and prenatal massage. Strong patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse clients. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management. Experience with patient assessment to develop customized treatment plans that address individual needs. Familiarity with occupational health practices and med spa environments is a plus. Certification in CPR is required; additional certifications in trigger point therapy or sports massage are advantageous. Ability to build trust with clients through professional communication and attentive care while maintaining confidentiality. Pay is hourly based on experience. Part Time
