Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. This is a privately-owned Med Spa that offers many different wellness modalities and has a revolving door of clients. We are looking for someone who is flexible and has some experience. This will be a compensation per service provided model. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of various massage techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. This role involves assessing patients' needs, delivering tailored massage therapies, and contributing to an environment focused on healing and wellness. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and create personalized treatment plans. Perform a variety of massage techniques. Maintain knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to ensure safe and effective treatments. Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere for clients and addressing their concerns. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in the med spa setting to enhance patient care and treatment outcomes. Educate clients on self-care practices and pain management strategies to support their overall wellness journey. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the treatment area in accordance with health regulations. Experience Proven experience as a Massage Therapist in a clinical or med spa environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and trigger point therapy techniques. Previous experience in patient service or customer service roles is highly desirable. Familiarity with occupational health practices is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly. A valid massage therapy license or certification is required.
