Alpha School of Massage is seeking a Florida Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team as a daytime instructor. This position is ideal for an experienced therapist who enjoys helping others learn, communicates clearly, and wants a consistent three-day workweek. Previous teaching experience is welcome but not required. We are looking for someone with strong massage fundamentals, professional experience, patience, reliability, and a genuine interest in student development. Schedule Options Our preferred schedule is: Thursday, Friday and Saturday 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Approximately 24 paid hours per week We will also consider: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Approximately 24 paid hours per week Applicants should indicate which schedule they are available to work. The selected instructor will have a consistent three-day schedule, although occasional adjustments may be needed as enrollment and clinic operations grow. Responsibilities Provide engaging classroom and hands-on massage therapy instruction Demonstrate techniques and help students develop safe, effective body mechanics Teach massage fundamentals and modalities such as Swedish massage, deep tissue techniques, hot stone massage, and related curriculum Supervise and support students during practical training and student clinic Evaluate student performance through skills assessments, testing, and constructive feedback Maintain accurate attendance, grading, and student-progress records Promote a professional, supportive, and respectful learning environment Follow school policies and Florida massage therapy education requirements Qualifications Active Florida Massage Therapy License required At least three years of professional massage therapy experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Dependable, organized, and comfortable speaking to groups Passion for massage therapy and helping students succeed Ability to successfully complete a background screening Compensation Starting pay is $25.00-$30.00 per hour, based on professional experience, teaching experience, and qualifications.
