We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will provide exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health goals through personalized treatment plans and attentive care. Duties Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and other modalities tailored to client needs Conduct thorough client assessments to understand individual health concerns and develop customized treatment plans Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing health maintenance Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, client progress, and any relevant medical or physiological information Ensure a safe and comfortable environment by adhering to all health and safety regulations, including CPR certification requirements Communicate effectively with clients to understand their goals, answer questions, and provide exceptional customer service Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in physiology, anatomy, occupational health, and pain management Skills Extensive knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to massage therapy Proven experience in patient assessment and pain management strategies Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse clients Proficiency in various massage techniques including Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments Ability to work effectively within a med spa or wellness center environment with a focus on client satisfaction and safety Certification in CPR is required; additional certifications in specialized modalities such as trigger point therapy or prenatal massage are a plus Knowledge of medical terminology and understanding of how different therapies impact the body's physiology Join us in delivering outstanding therapeutic experiences that help clients feel their best every day!
