Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will provide exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health and wellness goals through personalized treatment plans and attentive care. Duties Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health massage to address individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current concerns, and treatment goals. Educate clients on the benefits of various massage techniques and provide guidance on self-care practices for ongoing wellness. Maintain detailed records of each session, including client progress and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and explain treatment procedures clearly. Ensure a safe environment by adhering to all health and safety protocols, including CPR certification requirements. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to support comprehensive patient care and pain management strategies. Skills Proven experience in massage therapy with proficiency in Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health techniques. Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to assess client needs accurately and communicate effectively. Ability to perform patient assessments and develop customized treatment plans tailored to individual health conditions. Familiarity with pain management techniques and experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting preferred. CPR certification is required; additional certifications in trigger point therapy or sports massage are a plus. Demonstrated commitment to client confidentiality, professionalism, and ongoing professional development in massage therapy practices.
