Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify specific areas of pain, tension, or injury, utilizing your knowledge of physiology and anatomy. Develop customized treatment plans that incorporate techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address individual patient needs. Perform therapeutic massage sessions focused on pain management, occupational health concerns, or rehabilitation goals. Maintain detailed documentation of patient evaluations, treatment procedures, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations. Educate patients on self-care practices and post-treatment recommendations to support ongoing recovery. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans and ensure optimal patient outcomes. Uphold the highest standards of patient service by creating a welcoming environment, demonstrating empathy, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Experience Valid Florida licensure as a Massage Therapist (required). Current malpractice insurance (required). Proven experience in clinical or medical massage settings, preferably within med spas or occupational health environments. Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage. Hands-on expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other advanced techniques for pain management. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to assess individual needs accurately and communicate effectively. Familiarity with occupational health principles and experience working with diverse patient populations is highly desirable. Prior experience in med spa environments is a plus, demonstrating adaptability to fast-paced clinical settings.
