The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, with the ability to assess patient needs and provide tailored massage treatments. This role requires a commitment to enhancing patient wellness through various massage techniques, including deep tissue and trigger point therapy. The Massage Therapist will work in a supportive environment focused on patient care, pain management, and overall health improvement. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment goals. Administer various types of massages, including deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and other specialized techniques. Maintain knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals. Collaborate with other healthcare providers to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients. Provide exceptional patient service by creating a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. Educate patients on self-care techniques and wellness practices to support their healing journey. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the treatment area in accordance with health regulations. Skills Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to massage therapy. Proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques for effective pain management. Familiarity with occupational health practices within a therapeutic setting. Experience in med spa environments is a plus but not required. Excellent patient service skills with a focus on building rapport and trust with clients. Ability to assess patient conditions accurately for tailored treatment plans. Understanding of medical terminology related to massage therapy practices. Competence in deep tissue massage techniques for addressing chronic pain issues.
