In this role, you will deliver personalized massage treatments that enhance clients' physical health and overall well-being. Your expertise will help clients achieve relaxation, recover from injuries, and improve their quality of life through expert massage techniques. Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health massage. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans. Communicate effectively with clients to explain procedures, gather feedback, and ensure comfort throughout each session. Maintain detailed records of treatments administered, client progress, and any relevant medical information in compliance with privacy regulations. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or referrals when necessary. Ensure all equipment and treatment areas are sanitized and maintained according to health and safety standards. Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education requirements to enhance your skills and certifications. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification to practice professionally. Proven experience in various massage modalities including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health massage. Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to assess client needs accurately and communicate effectively. Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and familiarity with safety protocols for medical emergencies. Prior experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting is preferred but not required. Ability to build rapport with clients while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
