Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will provide professional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being for our diverse clientele. This is a specialized team of rapidly growing providers where a secondary massage therapist will thrive and is highly anticipated by existing clientele. Please be ready for immediate clients. This is an independent operator position where booth rent is required. However, a temporary commission period is optional. Duties Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans. Apply advanced knowledge of physiology and anatomy to ensure safe and effective therapy practices. Communicate clearly with clients to explain procedures, gather feedback, and adjust treatments accordingly for optimal results. Maintain accurate documentation of each session, including treatment details and client progress notes. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including CPR certification and proper sanitation protocols. Stay informed about the latest developments in massage therapy and related medical terminology to continually enhance your skills. Clean your space and maintain general space per Salon code. Keep an updated booking site. Check clients out and book follow up appointments. Maintain your own social media presence. Pursue clients independently Any and all skills required to owning your own business. Must be able to work independently Skills Exceptional patient service skills with a focus on creating a relaxing and trusting environment. Proficiency in various massage techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage modalities. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pain management strategies, and occupational health principles. Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and communicate effectively with clients about their needs and treatment options. Experience with medical terminology relevant to therapeutic practices is highly desirable. CPR certification is required to ensure client safety during sessions.
