Responsibilities Deliver a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and relaxation massage tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current concerns, and treatment goals Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend appropriate treatment plans for pain management and stress relief Maintain detailed records of each session, including techniques used, client feedback, and progress notes in compliance with privacy standards Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to sanitation protocols and maintaining equipment cleanliness Stay informed about the latest developments in physiology, anatomy, and occupational health to enhance treatment effectiveness Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to support comprehensive patient care Qualifications Proven experience in massage therapy, with a focus on deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and general relaxation techniques Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy Excellent patient service skills with the ability to assess individual needs accurately and communicate effectively Familiarity with medical terminology and pain management strategies is highly desirable Prior experience working in a med spa or occupational health setting is a plus Ability to maintain professionalism while providing compassionate care in a fast-paced environment Join us as we help clients feel their best through expert touch and personalized care!
