Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Massage Therapist to provide exceptional therapeutic services to our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various massage techniques, excellent patient service skills, and a commitment to promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. As a Massage Therapist, you will deliver personalized treatments tailored to individual needs, ensuring a positive and restorative experience for every client. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment focused on health, wellness, and client satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, and prenatal massage to address client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and customize sessions accordingly. Provide treatments to areas of concern and monitor client progress over time. Educate clients on post-treatment care, self-care practices, and injury prevention strategies. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to sanitation protocols and health regulations. Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education requirements and malpractice coverage. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, manage expectations, and foster trust and comfort during sessions. Skills Extensive knowledge of physiology and human anatomy relevant to massage therapy practices. Proven experience in patient service with excellent client communication skills. Proficiency in various massage modalities including Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, sports massage, and prenatal massage. Understanding of medical contraindications related to musculoskeletal conditions and pain management and communication with client and assisting Doctor. Ability to perform patient assessments accurately and promote effective treatment plans and reinforce clients rescheduling. Experience working in med spas or health setting is preferred. Training and experience in specialized techniques such as sports or prenatal massage are advantageous.
