We are currently hiring licensed massage therapists to join our founding clinical team. This is a full-time W-2 position designed for therapists who take their work seriously and want to practice in an environment that values clinical judgment, continued learning, sustainable workload, and excellent client care. Position Details Full-time W-2 employment $28/hour for the entire scheduled workday—not just hands-on treatment time Tuesday-Saturday schedule Approximately 9:30 AM-6:00 PM Maximum of four 90-minute client sessions per day Gratuity-free practice Paid time off 16 hours of annual Professional Development Leave for approved continuing education Paid training prior to opening Ongoing clinical development and collaborative Clinical Roundtables ROVARA provides treatment supplies, equipment, and operational support About the Work ROVARA integrates therapeutic massage with nervous-system-informed and somatic principles to support stress recovery, resilience, and adaptability. Rather than asking clients to select from a menu of massage techniques, ROVARA therapists assess how stress is presenting in the body and use their professional judgment within the ROVARA framework to guide each session. ROVARA provides the framework. The therapist provides the clinical judgment. We are looking for therapists who are thoughtful, technically skilled, curious, professional, and comfortable working collaboratively while maintaining strong individual clinical judgment. Required Qualifications Active Iowa massage therapy license by employment start date Strong foundation in Swedish and deep tissue massage Formal hands-on professional training and demonstrated competency in craniosacral therapy Substantive formal training and demonstrated competency in manual lymphatic drainage/lymphatic massage Ability to work the full Tuesday-Saturday schedule Availability for paid training beginning November 9, 2026 Strong professional boundaries and communication skills Commitment to client-centered, ethical, and responsible practice We expect a high standard of care, professionalism, judgment, and accountability.
