We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. As a Massage Therapist, you will provide therapeutic massage treatments to clients, helping them improve their overall well-being and relieve pain or discomfort. You will utilize your knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to assess clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

Duties:

• Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue, Swedish, sports, and prenatal massages
• Assess clients' conditions and medical histories to determine appropriate massage techniques
• Provide pain management and relief through massage therapy
• Utilize physical examinations and patient assessments to identify areas of concern
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
• Educate clients on self-care techniques for continued improvement between sessions
• Adhere to ethical standards and maintain client confidentiality
• Ensure a clean and sanitary work environment

Qualifications:

• Valid Massage Therapist license in the state of Iowa
• Proven experience as a Massage Therapist (new graduates welcome)
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Proficient in various massage techniques including deep tissue massage
• Familiarity with pain management strategies
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to provide exceptional patient service and care
