Massage Therapist

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques and therapies, including deep tissue massage, lymphatic massage and more. You will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service, conducting thorough patient assessments, and developing personalized treatment plans to address pain management and enhance overall well-being. Your expertise in anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology will be essential in delivering high-quality care to our clients. Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including deep tissue massage and light touch massage. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine the appropriate treatment approach. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at pain management and overall health improvement. Maintain accurate records of client sessions, including treatment details and progress notes. Provide excellent customer service by ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for clients. Stay informed about the latest advancements in massage therapy techniques and practices. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to support client care. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in the treatment area. Requirements Valid massage therapy license or certification from an accredited institution. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Experience with patient service and customer service in a therapeutic setting. Previous experience in a wellness spa environment is a plus but not required. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
