Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health goals through tailored treatments that combine technical skill with compassionate care. Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on physiology knowledge and patient history Educate clients on pain management strategies, occupational health practices, and self-care techniques to enhance their wellness journey Maintain detailed treatment records, including client progress notes and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards and privacy regulations Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to support comprehensive patient care and recovery Ensure a safe environment by adhering to all health and safety protocols, including CPR certification requirements Provide excellent patient service by creating a welcoming atmosphere that fosters trust and comfort throughout each session Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with liability insurance Proven experience in massage therapy, particularly with deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and medical massage techniques Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pain management principles to effectively assess and treat diverse conditions Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage and occupational health practices Ability to create SOAP notes as needed Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with clients of all backgrounds Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends as needed to accommodate client schedules Join us in delivering transformative wellness experiences that empower our clients' health journeys!
