Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and develop customized treatment plans. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide guidance on self-care practices for ongoing wellness. Maintain detailed records of each session, including client progress and treatment notes, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Communicate effectively with clients to ensure comfort, address concerns, and explain treatment procedures clearly. Uphold the highest standards of patient service by creating a welcoming environment that promotes relaxation and trust. Adhere to all safety protocols, including CPR certification and proper sanitation procedures, to ensure client safety at all times. Skills Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to accurately assess client needs and target specific muscle groups. Proven experience in pain management techniques and understanding of medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health. Excellent client communication skills to build rapport and ensure a positive experience for every patient. Expertise in various massage modalities such as Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Ability to perform patient assessments effectively and tailor treatments accordingly. Customer service-oriented mindset with a passion for helping others achieve their wellness goals. Experience working in medical spa or healthcare settings is preferred; CPR certification is required for safety compliance.
