Part-Time | Approximately 15 hours/week | $35/hour starting pay + tips | 401(k) match Viride Wellness Spa is looking for a licensed massage therapist to join our team. We are a small, owner-operated wellness spa with an established clientele and a strong focus on quality massage and long-term client relationships. We're looking for someone who enjoys a relaxed, comfortable spa environment. We want our therapists to feel confident not only in their massage skills, but also in their ability to communicate, educate, and build lasting client relationships. Availability must include:

One evening shift Saturday availability Additional weekday availability We are looking for someone who wants a consistent part-time position and can reliably commit to their scheduled shifts. What We're Looking For The most important skill we're looking for is confidence with deep tissue massage and pregnancy massage.

You should also be:

Licensed to practice massage therapy in Illinois Have at least 1 year of massage therapy experience Confident performing deep tissue massage Comfortable providing 45-, 60-, and 90-minute massage sessions A strong communicator who can listen to clients and understand their goals Comfortable educating clients about their treatment and making appropriate recommendations Comfortable building relationships with clients and encouraging them to schedule their next appointment Dependable, professional, and organized Comfortable taking responsibility for the normal tasks involved in managing your shift Our therapists are involved in the entire client experience. Depending on the shift, this can include greeting and checking out clients, assisting with rebooking, communicating with clients about their treatment, maintaining your treatment room, and making sure your shift runs smoothly. Your Massage Skills Our offerings include a variety of massage services, including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, bamboo fusion, Ashiatsu, prenatal, cupping, and other specialty treatments. You do not need to be experienced in every modality we offer. We're primarily looking for someone with strong foundational massage skills, especially deep tissue and pregnancy massage, who can confidently provide excellent sessions within their existing skill set.
