Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will provide exceptional massage services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health and wellness goals through personalized treatment plans and attentive care. Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and occupational health massages tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough client assessments to understand their health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals Educate clients on the benefits of different massage modalities and recommend appropriate therapies for pain management and relaxation Maintain detailed treatment records, including client progress and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with health regulations Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to sanitation standards and maintaining equipment Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, provide comfort, and foster a trusting relationship Stay updated on the latest massage techniques, physiology knowledge, medical terminology, and industry best practices to enhance service quality Skills Proven experience in massage therapy with proficiency in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments Strong patient service skills with the ability to assess client needs accurately and communicate effectively Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and pain management techniques Ability to perform patient assessments and develop customized treatment plans based on individual health conditions CPR certification and familiarity with safety protocols for emergency situations Experience working in med spas or similar healthcare settings is preferred Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor that puts clients at ease Understanding of occupational health principles relevant to workplace wellness programs Join us in delivering outstanding care that transforms lives!
