Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Part time or Full time Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic massage services aimed at promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role requires a strong understanding of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to deliver personalized treatments that meet each client's unique needs. Candidates should possess excellent patient service skills and a dedication to enhancing clients' health and comfort through professional massage techniques. Responsibilities Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities tailored to client needs Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and goals Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend ongoing wellness strategies Maintain detailed records of treatments provided and client progress Ensure a clean, safe, and relaxing environment for clients at all times Uphold occupational health standards and adhere to safety protocols during all procedures Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge in medical massage therapy Qualifications Valid massage therapy license or certification in accordance with state regulations Experience in patient service, customer service, and occupational health settings preferred Proficiency in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy Excellent communication skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively Prior experience in med spa or medical wellness environments is a plus Ability to work professionally with diverse client populations in a fast-paced setting Join our team if you are passionate about helping others achieve optimal health through expert massage therapy.
