Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will provide exceptional massage therapy services that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health and wellness goals through tailored massage techniques and professional care. Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage to meet individual client needs. Conduct thorough client assessments to understand their health history, current concerns, and treatment goals. Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing health improvement. Maintain detailed records of each session, including client feedback and treatment plans, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy. Communicate effectively with clients to ensure comfort, address questions, and build trusting relationships. Stay informed about the latest massage therapy techniques and industry best practices through ongoing education. Adhere to all safety protocols, including CPR certification and proper sanitation procedures, to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Skills Proven experience in massage therapy with proficiency in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to accurately assess client needs and tailor treatments accordingly. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse clients. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to pain management and therapeutic treatments. Ability to perform patient assessments effectively and develop customized treatment plans. Experience working in med spas or clinical settings is preferred. Knowledge of pain management techniques and client communication strategies enhances treatment outcomes. CPR certification is required to ensure safety during all sessions.
