Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Ayurvedic Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. In this role, you will deliver authentic Ayurvedic massage treatments that promote holistic healing, relaxation, and balance for our clients. Responsibilities Perform a variety of Ayurvedic massage techniques, including Abhyanga (oil massage), Shirodhara (oil pouring therapy), and other traditional treatments tailored to client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate therapies based on individual health conditions and Ayurvedic principles Educate clients on the benefits of Ayurvedic practices and recommend personalized treatment plans for ongoing wellness Maintain a clean, safe, and tranquil treatment environment in accordance with health and safety standards Utilize skills in trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, sports massage, prenatal massage, and pain management to address specific client concerns Communicate effectively with clients to understand their health history, preferences, and feedback during sessions Keep detailed records of treatments provided, client progress, and any relevant medical or physiological information Skills Extensive knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to massage therapy and holistic health practices Proven experience in patient service with excellent client communication skills Proficiency in various massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and Ayurvedic methods Strong understanding of medical terminology related to health conditions treated through massage therapy Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments to tailor treatments effectively Knowledge of occupational health standards and best practices for maintaining hygiene and safety during treatments CPR certification is required; additional certifications in med spa procedures or occupational health are a plus Experience working in a med spa or wellness center is highly desirable Join us in delivering transformative wellness experiences rooted in traditional Ayurvedic healing!
