Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various massage techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional patient service. This role is crucial in promoting relaxation, alleviating pain, and enhancing the overall well-being of our clients. The Massage Therapist will work in a supportive environment that values professionalism and continuous learning. Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities as required by client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual treatment plans based on their specific conditions and preferences. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of anatomy and physiology to ensure safe and effective treatments. Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring clients feel comfortable and valued throughout their experience. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a med spa setting to deliver comprehensive care. Educate clients on self-care practices and the benefits of regular massage therapy for occupational health. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the therapy room and equipment to uphold hygiene standards. Stay informed about medical terminology relevant to client conditions for accurate communication with healthcare providers. Requirements Valid state certification or license in massage therapy. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Experience in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other therapeutic techniques preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient service and customer satisfaction. Ability to assess patient needs effectively and develop tailored treatment plans. Commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of massage therapy. Previous experience in a med spa or healthcare setting is a plus but not mandatory.
