Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team here at, Redefine Wellness of Rockford. This individual will provide therapeutic massage/manual therapies to patients at the direction of the treating Doctor. The person in this position needs to have knowledge of anatomy and MUST have experience in a role doing massage. Must have a strong compassion for others and interest in working in a therapeutic setting. Massages very from 15-60 minutes in length. MUST have some form of massage experience in a previous role for more than 1 year or a massage license/certification. If you do not have this please do not apply. The person in this position will also get training as a receptionist and be a fill in when we are very busy or if an employee needs time off. Reception hours may sometimes consist of the mornings which is from 8am-12pm. Hours for doing massage would be Monday-Thursday 1:30pm-6:45pm and Friday mornings from 8am-12pm if needed. Responsibilities Promptly and efficiently answer the phones in a friendly and professional manner Smile and greet patients by name when they enter the clinic Accept payment when a patient has a balance on their account Control the flow of the office Describe products available for purchase at the clinic and process payment Accurately schedule patients for the services ordered by the Doctors Have knowledge of services in the office to be able to explain what we offer both on the phone and in person Qualifications Customer service experience a plus. Passionate and positive about helping others achieve long term progress and results Motivating and positive attitude who enjoys listening and hearing about other people's days You must have a passion for your own health as well as for helping others Individuals must also be outgoing and friendly, detail-oriented, a drive to take initiative, and able to multitask.
