Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, with a focus on pain management and patient service. As a Massage Therapist, you will provide exceptional care to clients, helping them achieve relaxation and relief from tension while ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment. Responsibilities Perform therapeutic massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on anatomy knowledge and physiology understanding. Maintain accurate records of client sessions, including treatment notes and progress reports, utilizing medical terminology as necessary. Provide excellent customer service by creating a positive experience for clients before, during, and after their appointments. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments or self-care practices to enhance their wellness journey. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the treatment area in compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the med spa environment to provide comprehensive care. Experience Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with a valid state license. Or graduating from massage school within 30days. Strong knowledge of pain management techniques and customer service best practices. Familiarity with medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology is preferred. Experience in patient assessment to identify specific needs for effective treatment plans.
