Job Description

Job Overview I am seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist to join my team. Will be a 1099 In this role, you will provide exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health goals through personalized treatment plans and attentive care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on clients' lives while working in a supportive and energetic environment. Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments tailored to individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current concerns, and treatment goals. Communicate effectively with clients to explain procedures, gather feedback, and adjust treatments accordingly. Maintain detailed records of each session, including client progress and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend follow-up treatments or referrals as appropriate. Ensure a safe environment by adhering to all health and safety protocols, including CPR certification requirements and an Olathe massage license. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to support comprehensive patient care. Experience Proven experience in massage therapy with a strong background in various modalities such as Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and prenatal massage. Knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to accurately assess client conditions and develop effective treatment strategies. Prior experience working in med spas or occupational health settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with medical terminology related to pain management and client assessment processes. Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with clients about their treatment options and progress. Certification in CPR is required; additional certifications in sports massage or medical massage are a plus. Experience providing client-centered care that emphasizes customer service excellence and promotes relaxation and healing. Pay:
$36.57 - $39.90 per hour
