Licensed Massage Therapist (Employee)
  • Flexible Hours for Working Parents | Bowling Green, Kentucky MassageFIX is hiring a licensed massage therapist who wants a career that still leaves real time for home and family. We have been a locally owned, therapist-run practice in Bowling Green for over 23 years

Pay is merit-based:
more hours and more menu knowledge mean higher pay. Explore our comprehensive, premium-priced menu. Average tip is about $30 per client. Bowling Green is a large, family-friendly town with strong public schools, a low cost of living, and the clientele and amenities of a bigger city. The office is professional and family-like. How the job works Flexible hours around drop-off, school, sick days, and dinner. Build a book that puts home first. Employee (W-2), not booth rent or 1099. Direct deposit. Strong hourly pay plus tips. Jenna Bigley, LMT (2025 BMI graduate), has earned up to $39/hour. On a 35-hour week (about 17 clients), that comes to about $4,600/month including tips-hourly pay plus tips, not a commission split. Results depend on your schedule and book. Jenna is happy to take questions. 30 minutes paid after each treatment for cleanup, room reset, and SOAP notes. Three seasoned therapists on site to help with questions, new pathology, or protocol. Paid trainings and free CE hours, including Clinical Ethical Closure training that most schools skip. We teach SOAP notes so charting is a simple skill, not a panic. Want your own niche (TMJ, sports, Thai)? We'll build it into the menu and promote it. Requirements

Requirements Current Kentucky massage license in good standing Professional liability insurance (or ability to obtain before start date) Willingness to work as a W-2 employee (not 1099 / booth rent) Complete paid onboarding: room open/close/sanitize (including bodily-fluid spill protocol), Noterro on a MacBook, client intake, draping, NYSSM theory and practice, SOAP notes, and Clinical Ethical Closure Perform thorough verbal intakes; screen for contraindications; obtain informed consent; refer out when work is outside scope of practice Keep timely, organized SOAP notes Begin and end sessions on time; clock in and out for shifts and breaks High cleanliness and professional interaction with clients and staff Maintain confidentiality, client boundaries, and Kentucky CE requirements Coachable, reliable, and client-centered; new graduates welcome Preferred (not required to apply) Comfort with our clinical/therapeutic menu (Basic full body massage, warm Himalayan salt stone, target area massage. Interest in learning the full menu over time (merit-based pay) Physical / schedule Ability to perform hands-on massage for booked session lengths and complete a paid 30-minute room reset and SOAP block after each treatment Flexible availability built around family needs; schedule agreed in advance
