Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist specializing in bodywork to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health goals through personalized treatment plans, combining various massage techniques and bodywork modalities. Duties Provide professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and other specialized modalities tailored to client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns, pain points, and treatment goals Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness and injury prevention Maintain detailed treatment records, ensuring accurate documentation of services provided and client progress Communicate effectively with clients to ensure comfort, address questions, and build lasting relationships based on trust and professionalism Adhere strictly to safety protocols including CPR certification and proper sanitation standards to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to support comprehensive patient care and pain management strategies Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification in bodywork modalities Proven experience in massage therapy with proficiency in Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to accurately assess patient needs and customize treatments accordingly Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain procedures clearly and empathetically Familiarity with medical terminology related to pain management and musculoskeletal conditions Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is required for safety compliance Prior experience working in med spas or wellness centers is preferred but not mandatory; a passion for helping others achieve wellness is essential Ability to maintain a professional appearance while delivering energetic, motivating service that encourages client loyalty Join us as a Licensed Massage Therapist and bodywork specialist where your skills will directly enhance the health and happiness of our clients.
