As a Massage Therapist at Spa Atlantis French Quarter, you will be responsible for providing expert massage therapy services to patients seeking relief from pain and discomfort. Your goal will be to help patients achieve relaxation through a range of massage techniques and modalities, all while keeping to the standards of

Spa Atlantis Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify areas of tension and pain, and develop personalized massage therapy plans to address these issues.
• Provide a variety of massage modalities, including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and more, to alleviate pain and promote relaxation and rejuvenation.
• Utilize anatomy and physiology knowledge to understand the musculoskeletal system and develop effective massage techniques to address specific areas of pain and tension.
• Develop a thorough understanding of acute pain management and work closely with other professionals to provide comprehensive treatment plans.
• Work in a spa setting and utilize your knowledge of occupational health to help patients achieve optimal health and well-being.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatments and progress.
• Communicate effectively with patients and other professionals to ensure a high level of patient satisfaction and care, as well keeping up with Spa Atlantis standards

Qualifications:

• Current licensure or certification as a massage therapist in the State of Louisiana.
• Strong anatomy and physiology knowledge, as well as proficiency in various massage modalities, including deep tissue massage.
• Experience working in a spa setting Is not necessary, will train
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
