In this energetic and rewarding position, you'll deliver tailored massage treatments that address individual needs, promote healing, and foster a sense of renewal. Your expertise will help clients achieve relief from pain, reduce stress, and improve their quality of life through professional touch and personalized care. Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to target specific muscle groups and alleviate pain. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns, treatment goals, and medical history. Provide exceptional patient service by creating a welcoming environment and ensuring client comfort throughout each session. Educate clients on self-care practices, occupational health tips, and post-treatment routines to support ongoing wellness. Maintain accurate records of treatments provided, patient progress, and any relevant medical terminology or physiology details. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or med spa staff to develop comprehensive treatment plans for clients with complex needs. Uphold the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and professionalism in compliance with industry regulations. Requirements Proven experience in patient service with excellent customer service skills. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Certification or licensing as required by local regulations for massage therapists. Skilled in various massage techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Strong understanding of pain management strategies and occupational health principles. Prior experience working in a med spa or similar environment is preferred. Ability to assess patient needs accurately and adapt treatments accordingly.
