Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will provide exceptional lower extremity massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health and wellness goals through personalized treatment plans and attentive care. Responsibilities Deliver a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, oncology massage, aromatherapy and occupational health treatments to meet individual client needs Conduct thorough client assessments to understand their health history, current concerns, and treatment goals Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness Maintain documentation of each session, including client progress and treatment notes Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment by adhering to all health and safety regulations Communicate effectively with clients to explain procedures, address questions, and build rapport Stay current with industry best practices and participate in ongoing professional development Ability to lift and move a 40lb water basin from a high surface to a lower surface Skills Educated in massage therapy with specialization in Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage and sports massage Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy Excellent patient service skills with the ability to assess client needs accurately and communicate clearly Ability to assess pain management strategies effectively through various massage techniques Demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence and client communication skills Recommended (but not required) Previous experience working as a massage therapist Experience administering reiki to massage clients Knowledge of common foot/lower leg conditions Additional employment benefits Opportunity for free reiki attunement via senior reiki master Join us in delivering transformative wellness experiences! $25.00 - $100.00 per hour
