Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and other specialized techniques based on client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend appropriate treatment plans for pain management, stress reduction, or occupational health improvements. Maintain detailed and accurate client records, including treatment notes and progress reports, adhering to confidentiality standards. Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by following all sanitation protocols and maintaining equipment properly. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain procedures clearly, and provide exceptional customer service throughout each session. Stay current with industry best practices by participating in ongoing education and training related to physiology, anatomy knowledge, medical terminology, CPR certification, and med spa procedures. Skills Extensive knowledge of physiology and anatomy to tailor treatments effectively. Proven experience in various massage techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Strong patient service skills with the ability to assess individual needs accurately. Excellent client communication skills to build trust and ensure a positive experience. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to pain management and therapeutic treatments. Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Prior experience in med spa settings or healthcare environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for continuous learning is essential. $37.99 - $45.75 per hour Expected hours: No less than 10.0 per week
