Duties Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their concerns, medical history, and treatment goals Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness Maintain detailed records of client treatments, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with health regulations Collaborate with healthcare providers or medical professionals when necessary to support pain management and rehabilitation efforts Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all clients by adhering to sanitation standards and clinic protocols Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education opportunities to enhance your skills Skills Strong patient service orientation with excellent communication skills Proficiency in patient assessment and developing customized treatment plans Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques Solid knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy Ability to work effectively within occupational health settings or med spa environments Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Experience with medical documentation, record keeping, and maintaining client confidentiality Knowledge of anatomy and physiology enhances the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions Working during the weekends.
