Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to target specific areas of tension or pain Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness and pain management Maintain detailed documentation of treatments, patient progress, and assessments in compliance with medical terminology standards Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans when necessary Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment that prioritizes patient comfort and satisfaction Stay current with industry best practices, physiology knowledge, and occupational health standards to continually improve service quality Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification to practice legally Proven experience in patient service, with strong skills in patient assessment and customized treatment planning Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques Solid understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect empathetically with clients from diverse backgrounds Prior experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting is preferred Knowledge of occupational health standards to ensure safe practice environments Join us in delivering exceptional care that transforms lives through healing touch!
