Duties Perform a range of massage techniques including deep tissue, sports, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to meet client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual conditions, preferences, and treatment goals. Apply physiology and anatomy knowledge to develop personalized massage plans that promote pain management and overall health. Communicate effectively with clients to explain treatment procedures, gather feedback, and ensure comfort throughout each session. Maintain accurate records of client treatments, progress notes, and medical history in compliance with privacy regulations. Stay current with medical terminology and industry best practices by participating in ongoing training and certification updates such as CPR and med spa procedures. Uphold the highest standards of customer service by creating a relaxing environment and addressing client questions or concerns professionally. Skills Proven experience in massage therapy with expertise in deep tissue massage, sports massage, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and medical spa treatments. Strong patient service skills with the ability to assess individual needs accurately and adjust techniques accordingly. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pain management strategies, and occupational health principles relevant to therapeutic massage. Excellent client communication skills to build trust and ensure an exceptional customer experience. Ability to interpret medical terminology related to patient conditions and treatment plans. $30.00 - $42.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 5.0 per week
