The Massage Therapist role:

An integral member of Color Box, the MassageTherapist position performs a variety of massage and wellness treatments according to established Color Box protocols. The Massage Therapist is responsible for creating an environment that is of pure peace and relaxation for all Color Box Wellness guests. They will be able to read guests and customize treatments based on needs and preferences. The massage therapist role is not restricted to perform massage services only. The position offers training within body wellness treatments, including our unique dry floatation therapy.

The ideal candidate to apply:

Recognized massage qualification and Michigan license, preferably with previous experience in a luxury spa environment Self-motivation and able to work independently and as a team Excellent understanding of client care and five-star treatment standards Genuine interest in holistic spa treatments Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills High level of attention to detail Strong organizational skills, solid computer skills and a hospitality spirit Previous customer experience and ability to work effectively under pressure. Maintain licensing and continuing education Utilize time management to work within scheduled times

Requirements:

A minimum of 2+ year's experience as a Massage Therapist Must take initiative to promote self and products and build and retain clientele. Knowledge of various massage treatments. Adapt in designing specific treatments based on the client's individual needs. Create a pleasant experience for clients through a friendly and helpful attitude.
